New credit card payment option for consular and visa services
If you are applying for a visa, a UK passport and/or other consular services either in person or by post, you now have the option of paying by credit or debit card.
Changes for Venezuelan visitors to the UK
The new visa requirements will apply from 18 May 2009 and only to those Venezuelan citizens who do not possess a new, biometric passport, containing an electronic chip.

Swine Flu advisory
Up till now, there have been 186 confirmed human cases of Swine Flu in Venezuela. The Government has taken some precautionary measures, such as screening passengers coming from areas where there have been confirmed cases. You can check for updates on the development of this situation on the Venezuelan Health Ministry's website, www.mpps.gob.ve/ms. You should monitor local media reports for any developments and advice.
