Passport fees
Payment types accepted:
You can pay for your passport one of two ways:
- By credit card - You can use an international credit/debit card or your Venezuelan CADIVI authorised Visa or MasterCard credit card. You will need to print out a Card Payment Authorisation Form (DOC, 61KB), fill in your card details as instructed on the form, and present it with your application to the Consular staff or enclose it in the envelope if you are applying for a passport by post. DO NOT send your actual credit card. Read instructions.
- By cash deposit at Banco Exterior - Before attending the British Embassy Caracas for your appointment, pay the passport fee IN CASH ONLY (in Bolivares) at any of the BANCO EXTERIOR agencies nation-wide via bank account No. 0115-0021-86-3000301411.
NOTE: The British Embassy no longer accepts cash or bankers drafts as a form of payment.
Conditions:
A receipt acknowledging payment will be issued at the time of application, please bring this with you to claim your new passport. Non bearers collecting passports need to provide a letter of authority from the bearer. The bearer’s signature will be matched against his/her application form before we will hand over the passport.
